We'd like to extend our sympathies to the family, friends & co-workers of Sgt. Jeremy Cole of the @EndicottCollege Department of Public Safety & Police. Sgt. Cole was killed on his way home from work by a wrong way driver on I-95 in Newbury just after midnight on Thanksgiving AM.

When there is a 5th Thursday of the month, the Acord Food Pantry is usually short on volunteers to help with distribution. So naturally, they called us for back-up. We're always happy to help out and it was good thing we were there because it was a busy Halloween morning! 🎃

👮‍♂️Today, Officers Neill and Wynter had the pleasure of welcoming preschoolers from Christ Church Parish School for a special tour! The kids got a behind-the-scenes look at our station, met some of our officers, and learned about how we work together to keep our community safe.

Congratulations to LT Matt Donovan who was promoted and sworn into his new position on Friday afternoon! The ceremony was held outside at the Town Offices at the Patton Homestead in front of his family and members of the Police Department.

It's that time of the year to change our clocks back one hour! Please make sure to set your clocks back tomorrow morning (11/3/2024). Also, check your smoke detectors and & carbon-monoxide detector batteries and check any other safety equipment!

We've already had one Trick-or-Treater visit us this afternoon - a costume inspired by our own K9 Luca! We hope everyone stays safe and enjoys this usually warm Halloween!

Keep kids safe this Halloween! Ensure costumes fit, add lights/reflective tape, only accept sealed treats, & always accompany kids when crossing streets. Drivers, slow down, stay alert & watch out for the trick or treaters! 👻 Trick or Treating hours are from 5pm - 8pm tonight.

As we approach the end of October, it's important to keep spreading awareness and supporting those affected by breast cancer. The Hamilton Police Department is still showing their support by wearing pink badges, along with many other local departments raising awareness.

Today's the day! Drop off your old, expired, unwanted & unused prescription medication at Hamilton PD between 10AM-2PM as part of this fall's Drug Take Back Day. Safe disposal of these meds help to both protect the environment & prevent prescription medication abuse.
