The Committee has now completed its work. The Government has to respond to our report within two months. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our inquiry We will not be posting regularly in the meantime, but we will provide updates when the Government response is published

The House of Lords special inquiry committee on Food, Diet and Obesity has been reappointed by the House for the 2024-2025 session on Monday 29 July, to complete its work by 30 November.


House of Lords Food, Diet and Obesity Committee Reposted

A general election will take place on 4 July. Before this, Parliament will be prorogued tomorrow, 24 May before dissolution on 30 May. The House of Lords and its committees will not then meet until after the election.
