I'd like to be transparent with how my games release went, for our first game ever i think it went well. Enough to move on and learn off of this. Almost 200k downloads, over 1k in revenue(steam takes a cut). Thread: #gamedev #indiedev #competitiveshooter
After two months of being released, we finally got our reviews up. Lesson learned, do NOT make a competitive shooter as an indie dev. Regardless this has been such a huge learning and portfolio project. Even though it averages only 50 players I am happy and can move on.#gamedev

These 2 indie devs made their own FPS inspired by Valorant, CSGO, and Rainbow 6 Siege. It has map destruction, weapon customization with attachments/mods, and even doors that can be locked/unlocked And it’s free to play
