10 min video breaks down the variants & explains differences between them + the dangers of #OmicronVariant . Thank you to my NEMG colleague Dr. Dan Hartman, Director of Walk-ins Eastern Connecticut Region. Get boosted! youtube.com/watch?v=nmBX0s…

For anyone working in the primary care setting or in pop health, this article reads like our collective professional biography. We have the opportunity to embrace a “better system” going forward. The opportunity is now! newyorker.com/science/medica…

A must-read article about rapid implementation of tele-health at the VA during the COVID19 crisis. Thank you so much to my new friend Juliette Spelman and to your team for sharing lessons learned. #telehealth #covid19 link.springer.com/article/10.100…

I can’t even comment. Except to ponder what an IRB would think of the meaning of “placebo” within the context of casino workers compelled to return to work.

My god. @MySMFM are we really having our meeting here next February?

Insanity and ignorance say hello to grace and courage #yearofthenurse

One curve sharply on rise, rightly so. Agree with @cmpettker - brilliant. A small bit of humor.

I have no idea the source of this. I am sorry I can’t appropriately attribute it. If it is yours...you are brilliant.

Couldn’t help it. Had to retweet. Fauci pain scale.

I have drawn a lot of heavy stuff in the past 2 weeks... here is something I needed to draw to buoy my mood. The Fauci faces pain scale. (Grateful for smart folks like Fauci and hope that the voices of experts can be those that drive our nation’s response to this crisis.)

Hero. Weight of the world on his shoulder. #covidwarriors

The loneliness of being the medical director of Infection Prevention during #COVID19. Thanks for all you do Dr. Martinello.

In God we trust; all others must bring data. #FlattenTheCurve using data and testing for all who are suspect COVID!!!

Tired of seeing models. We need actual population statistics based on diagnoses, testing, hospitalization, etc.

Florence Nightingale would have loved this. And would be jumping right in to help at the front line. #CovidWarriors #FlattenTheCurve

Excellent clarification of an image from Yale that is going viral. Read the entire thread...

Brief thread: To clarify for those seeing these images & wondering what this represents: This is NOT an inpatient hospital ward. This is a staging/urgent care, fully-staffed center for SUBACUTE care. Why is this so necessary and important? 1/x

@GovNedLamont your leadership is notable in this devastating situation. Thank you for your support and dedication to the state of CT and to YNHH.

With all the focus on hospital ICU care, let’s remember the crucial role of primary care medical management and nursing care in the community setting: Care Coordination, telemedicine, and triage/screening to #FlattenTheCuve and to keep our pts healthy!!

To meet new reality of healthcare delivery, State licensure requirements have been waived for the purposes of TeleHealth. Smart move!!!!

ANSWER: According to our legal department, state licensure requirements have been waived for the purpose of TeleHealth during the COVID crisis.

From an Academic, wise advice on productivity for all of us. “Make a plan with a longer vision.”

Academic peeps: I've lived through many disasters. Here is my advice on "productivity". First, play the long game. Your peers who are trying to work as normal right now are going to burn out fast. They're doomed. Make a plan with a longer vision. /1

No small task!!! Moving an ENTIRE unit of vulnerable patients. Awesome teamwork!!!
