One thing I think people miss about the fact that many deep red states approved economically progressive ballot measures is that a core difference between a ballot measure and a candidate is the ballot measure is going to do what it says.

Walz is the best VP pick of most of our lifetimes. He represents a shift from neoliberal consultant cynicism towards civically-minded politics, and Harris picking him speaks to her shrewdness. But it is hard to enjoy as anti-genocide voices are repressed outside the DNC doors.
If I could show one thing directly to Kamala Harris it would be this: Among *Biden 2020* voters in Pennsylvania who now say they are voting third party/not voting/unsure, *57%* say they would move toward Harris if she calls an arms embargo on Israel and *ZERO* said less likely
Kamala Harris choosing Walz is VERY significant. It is a reminder that we can and must use our voices to get the outcomes we want. It also signals that VP Harris is listening to the voices of young, grassroots, pro-ceasefire, and other voters. This is very encouraging.
