except that the NHS National Screening Committee does not recommend screening because harms>benefits. I despair. thetimes.com/uk/healthcare/…

dearohdearohdear @RishiSunak it's a bit more complicated than that. …eening-recommendations.service.gov.uk/prostate-cance… bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00… bmj.com/content/bmj/38… BUT the transform trial is a great thing which will help to understand whether screening can work effectively and less harmfully.

Early detection saves lives. Proud to support the #ProactiveForYourProstate campaign, championing groundbreaking research and raising awareness of prostate cancer.

A three-month-old red panda died due to stress caused by bonfire day fireworks displays, say staff at the Edinburgh Zoo. The zoo is now calling for restrictions on fireworks displays to limit stress to animals.

I’m all for the use of voice recognition systems. I use them. But when reviewing an ms it’s essential that the reviewer then checks what they produced. I’m fed up getting a stream of consciousness reviews where it’s frankly nothing but gobbledygook.
