I feel that this is debatable in some aspects, TD is a parody therefore it is pure comedy, but if we talk about characters I prefer the DC ones a thousand times over Because they are characters that we know and care about so much that we debate every time one is eliminated
Jake being a finalist is objectively better justified than Riya, I love her character arc but she shouldn't have made it past the Top 5
Here we have 2 beautiful series with a wide range of LGBT characters that doesn't have much representation of MLM couples, and I've never seen anyone complain about it. There is NOTHING wrong with Disventure Camp deciding to give more prominence to MLM couples
anyway regarding the (ironic?) homophobia in the fandom i need people to understand that you can criticize the sidelining of wlw without being weird about mlm representation in an animated show created by a mlm couple

I see many people saying that Riya "told Connor to back off", but many also ignore that most of the time it is Riya who is harassing Connor to lower his confidence or get things from him Riya exercised physical, mental and emotional abuse against him, ignoring what Connor feels
The other one was also being abused, turning off feelings for someone is not that simple and it is Riya who spends most of the time harassing him, it did not matter that Connor was moving away from her. She always looked for him to destroy his trust or to attack him
It's funny to me that Riya's toxic fans always justify the abuse she does, just because she "warned Connor" even though 90% of the time she's the one who seeks out and harasses him Connor's only "mistake" was saving her from falling out of the tree #disventurecamp #dctwt
