EU and Dual citizens living in the UK - Remember to vote in the @EuropeanParliament Elections, 6-9th June. Most countries allow either postal voting or voting in person at the Embassy or Consulate. Details here: london.europarl.europa.eu/home/pageconte… #UseYourVote #EUelections2024
I am clearly also too stupid or malevolent to refrain from giving Ms Truss any air/click-time at all by counselling her a period of self-reflection in lieu of publication telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/…
I just posted about this issue. Important for ME and ME/CFS folks to weigh in, as @RorPreston and @sunsopeningband have done: virology.ws/2024/04/14/tri…
I am not a US citizen - and clearly declare I am not - but I have just submitted this feedback to Senator Sanders & his team on the #LongCovid Moonshot Proposal 🚀 Including 3 solid steps to make things better. You can do this too at this email address 📧…
My thoughts on Senate Majority Leader Schumer speaking truth to power about the situation in Israel:
May we light the candles that lead us to a better future for all.
A profoundly important call to establish two states for two peoples from Leader Schumer, the highest-ranking Jewish official in U.S. history. Securing peace, safety, and prosperity for both Palestinians and Israelis is the best way to break the cycle of hate and violence.
Today, I’m giving a major address from the Senate floor on a pathway to peace and achieving a two-state solution. Watch live: twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…
I welcome @SenSchumer’s insightful comments on new directions for policy in the Middle East. His leadership on a path forward to lasting peace & stability is important.

The U.S. cannot dictate the outcome of an election. That is for the Israeli public to decide. As a democracy, Israel has the right to choose its own leaders. But the important thing is that Israelis are given a choice. There needs to be a fresh debate about the future.
This is brave.
At this critical juncture, I believe a new election in Israel is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel, at a time when so many Israelis have lost their confidence in the vision and direction of their government.
4) After all, some members of Netenyahu's Party say Palestinians 'don't exist', God 'gave Jews the Land' and Public Int. Law is just a tool used against those views: BBC World Service - Weekend, Israeli settlements increasing (Moshe Feiglin, speaking around 08:07-08:14). #Gaza
Asked about this hot-mic moment, VP Harris tells me Biden “meant what he said.” She says Biden has been “candid” and “unfiltered” in terms of having a serious conversation about his concerns.
3) Netenyahu humiliated Biden by forcing him into air drops to increasingly famine-struck Palestinians. Come to think of it, perhaps Netenyahu does indeed need to 'come to Jesus', as Jesus Christ could never justify under any circumstances causing a famine.

2) And following up with an enforced relief temporary port. Netenyahu, the client, should not have publicly humiliated first Obama, the patron (telling him on camera as a White House Guest, when Biden was V-P, that he - Obama - did not understand) and second, and recently, Biden.

twitter.com/i/status/17660… 1) A 'Come to Jesus' talk in American parlance is, of course, an invitation to a tough talk. But for a Roman Catholic US President to say this to a Jewish Israeli PM of Netenyahu's character and politics off Gaza) is sweet indeed! #GazaWar#GazaFamine

5) 1) Just watch how quickly this happens. When the Yankee Giant wakes up and sets its mind on something...
4) Israel's Navy/Israel will just have to suck this up, though not a single American boot will settle on Gazan land. End of Netenyahu, and of Israeli delusions of client State impunity under the patronage of the most powerful State the World has ever seen?
3) No surprise, as Netenyahu, having publicly humiliated the patron State’s President, Barak Obama, in the past, humiliated the latest Democrat President by forcing him into resorting to token and useless/counterproductive Gaza airdrops.
2chose to take its legal advice from the Tory pliant Lord Chancellor, not its true legal adviser, the nay-saying Attorney-General!). End of Eden and of British/French illusions of Great Power status (so Britons became Greeks to Romans and French independent force de frappeures).)
1) This signal to Israel is the equivalent of the USN bumping British and French naval vessels engaged in the unlawful Suez venture in 1956 (when Anthony Eden's Conservative Government foolishly wapo.st/3P9YnPL
This will be my last tweet of all, given the invalid election (no notice given, so I could not vote) reinstating an anti-democratic election denier, etc #TwitterOFF #TwitterLayoffs #Twittershutdown
