If we want to get serious about tackling the climate crisis we need a public transport system that actually works. We will: - Nationalise trains, buses & trams - Improve accessibility & services, especially in rural areas - Make public transport free for all

In many ways the continuing attacks on Corbyn are quite encouraging. They are obviously still petrified of the hope he offered to millions. Unwittingly, of course, they are keeping my spirits and my hopes up. They can't forget him anymore than we can!

The "optics left" are a bunch of treacherous journos.

I like @AyoCaesar but was disappointed with her on #PoliticsLive this morning. Why couldn't she just say Corbyn was right to say the issue had been exaggerated. She seemed to be going all around the houses but I suppose she has a TV career and rent or a mortgage to think about .

Beinart: “I’m an American Jew. My children go to Jewish day school. Judaism is at the centre of my life. The first time I went to the West Bank it was a shattering experience. The only thing like it would be for an American today to visit the Jim Crow South”.

Big up this man for calling out apartheid Israel.

Congratulations to Liz Truss on her election. The British people are our friends, the British nation is our ally. Let us continue working together to defend our shared interests.

The cost of living crisis and soaring energy bills are pushing millions of people into poverty. The government needs to take urgent action. We need wealth tax and public ownership of energy, water, mail and rail companies now.

In April energy price cap rose 54% taking typical bill to £1,971/yr On 1 Oct it'll rise 80% taking typical bill to £3,549/yr On 1 Jan the prediction now is UP 51% taking it to £5,386. This is strong prediction as we're 7mths thru the 10mth assessment. Tough to predict after.

I posted this about #BBCBias 4 years ago. A number of us have been calling out and evidencing it for years. But BBC bias has only just become real to many people today because a celebrity of their class and race who’s on their “side” has called it out. Shame on them. #BrokenMedia

#BrokenMedia | #BroadcastMedia | #BBCBias | It's truly amazing that most politically biased TV news provider isn't commercial TV or even part Murdoch owned Sky but the BBC. This Thread on that bias starting with a good summary from @johnpilger (1)
