Cherry picking is the death of discourse. That $21B for Walmart is on $611B of revenue. That's a 3.4% margin. I don't know Kroger off hand but I'd bet it is lower. Focusing on one number to make your point tells me you either don't understand, or you don't want others to.
Are..you…kidding me? In 2022, Kroger reported an operating profit of over $4 billion, Walmart had an operating profit of $21 billion. Costs have increased to the consumer every year since COVID. THE CORPORATIONS ARE GOUGING CONSUMERS.
