My wife and I watched Eddie Izzard as Nina in “Doctor Jekyll” and y’all… the movie is so good. *SO* good. I want there to be more of it. Actually I need to watch it again cuz there’s some stuff I still don’t understand? But it is SO FREAKING COOL.

Well, I figured out what all the sirens are about. And yes I can STILL hear them.
The streets of Washington, DC, are flooded after a significant water main burst. Fire personnel are responding to reports that water is beginning to enter several office buildings, which in turn requires evacuation.
Right now I can hear what sounds like **every emergency vehicle in DC** wailing and honking from the direction of downtown. They are finally getting quieter, but in a really gradual fading way. Whatever that is, it’s bigger than a motorcade. A *LOT* bigger. :/
