The scoring sensation B Team case study 🤔 A hat-trick took Connor Young to 13 goals in 13 games for Edinburgh City. So; did move to Rangers B in 2022 help his development *or* without that does he enter SPFL (& score lots) earlier & by 24/25 play in higher league? Complex.

When looking at league transitions, relative dominance is the biggest factor If 70% of their games are the equivalent of playing for Chelsea versus Crawley And they are moving to play 80% versus stronger opponents then their output will plummet.

5 years in professional football and I still don't really see the point of most data visualisation beyond bar charts. Almost all pitch view data just shows you that a left winger plays on the left wing and creates danger, crosses, and shots from where left wingers play.

One of the interesting things you can do in our dataset is run our adult profiles on youth league data. It's really predictive, almost everyone who scores highly goes on to do pretty well. Top of the dataset is this lad from U17 Denmark who is now a regular for Copenhagen.
