Feeling slightly better today, due in part to the wonder I felt at seeing a hundred foot c**k and b**ls made of starlings flying over Brighton Pier. The Wild Remedy 🐦
A watercolour plate I've just completed of a selection of British and Irish flora. The species were chosen to depict plants from a variety of habitats and places, and those that having changing patterns of distribution.

Fallen leaves of #Magnolia macrophylla (Big-leaf Magnolia) reveal their silvery undersides at #SmithCollegeBotanicGarden today. This species apparently has the largest simple leaf of any tree native to North America, up to ~75 cm long!
Bad customer service when you expect your bulbs to be shipped by now, call to ask when they will be shipped and they cannot say when , then ask to have them shipped immediately and are told that's not possible either. Why order from them ever again? dutchgardens.com/about-us
I took several Begonia luxurians cuttings today Here’s how I prepare them remove the lower leaves never pull them off always cut about 1cm away from the stem this will then drop off in a few days. I then reduce the leaf that’s left by about half ,then pop it in water to root 🌱
Do you ever see something so beautiful, it sends a bolt of electricity through you? These fly agaric mushrooms did today at Harcourt Arboretum.
