Lightning deafted a strong Brockport squad, 4-3 today. 4-1 on the season. Spencerport away on Tuesday.
Two in a row. Lightning takes down Thunder, 6-1, and Gates, 7-0. 1st dubs back at it, after falling yesterday for the first time. And singles 1st singles rolls to a perfect 4-0 on the sseason. GL is now 3-1 on the season.
Well, not how we envisioned our 2nd match going, as lightning fell 2-5. Both 1st singles and doubles won. 3&4 went to 3 sets only to fall 6-3 and 6-4. Next match Monday vs Churchville. GLs 1&1 on the season.
We're back. Lightning started the season of today with a 6-1 victory or the Irondequoit. We debuted 5 new doubles players and 2 new singles players. 1, 3 & 4 singles brought home wins. All 3 doubles squads won in straight sets. Lightning are 1&0. Next up 4/13 vs RH at Olympia.
After earning a first round bye, Lightning just defeated Penfield 4-3 in the second round quarter finals. They move on for their first time ever into Section V class A1 semis tomorrow at Brighton. 4pm

Lightning's 5 game win streak was snapped by Canandaigua Friday. An 0-7 shutout, proved to be a heat check for the Lightning ahead of supers week.

That's a 5 game win streak. Lightning def. CC Saints 6-1 in a late one. Hats off to sophomore Aidan Byrnes for his singles victory. And, get out the brooms, as Lightning swept doubles for the fourth straight match.
Lightning scores another victory. 6-1 over depleted Irondequoit. With this victory, Greece takes a 1.5 game lead in the division with 2 divisional matches left to play, and 5 total to go. Plate night on the 19th might be for division. Come see.

I locked myself out of the twitter, then got out of the habit. But we are back! Lightning is on currently 4-4 and leads the division by one game. Lightning beat Gates today 7-0. Strong performances today by 1st and 2nd doubles.

Disappointing loss today at HFL, 1-6. Jack Gallagher brings home a 3rd set victory. Doubles teams struggled to find ground early. R.Mitzler lost a tough 5-7, 4-6 marathon. J.Silva injury retired by coaches decision in second set.
Lighting takes on the Cougars today at 4:15 in HFL between battle of 1-0 teams. This will represent a real test for the new players and challenge to the veterans that haven't played HFL since 2018, in which Greece won 4-3 when the four seniors were freshman.
