Over 13,000 people have signed a petition to reverse Georgia Southern’s recent graduation changes. Also, a poll was ran and 83% of voters disagreed with the recent changes. However, the SGA continues to ignore the overwhelming majority. Comment & let your voice be heard.
The plans for this upcoming May are not changing, Dies reaffirms. They are planning on taking everything back to the committee for future graduations.
Steele and Dies confirm the decision is final.

Georgia Southern University will now hold two separate ceremonies on different campuses. Each college will now host their own ceremony, along with a traditional university-wide ceremony. Do you agree with the changes to the commencement ceremonies? @TheGeorgeAnne
