Consider keeping perception & action in tact. “…task simplification should not be used to the point where the practice of the movement becomes unrepresentative of how it would be performed under actual performance contexts.” (Philip O’Callaghan) #TOVO

If you have a coach, teacher, parent, teammate or mentor who helps hold you accountable you are blessed. Good leaders do not shy away from confrontation. They live by a set of standards and have high expectations. Embrace those who expect the most of you and you will grow.

"Your mistakes don't lose you games. Your response to mistakes, lose you games. We don't want reactions; we want responses." In sports and in life, your response-ability is your responsibility. Don't react (that's emotion) to mistakes. Respond (take action) to mistakes.

No one is 'built different', but some have used discipline, effort, & sacrifice to make themselves different. You want to be different: "get up earlier, stay later, ask questions, be a good person, care about others, stay humble, & work harder when no one's around" @LewisCaralla

"What are your habits when things get tough? We practice to create habits that will make us successful in the most difficult situations." Make daily deposits in practice of effort, fortitude, & execution. Then, during the game, you're ready to make a 'withdrawal' when it counts.

5 REGRETS Players can Have: ▪️Not putting in the time ▪️Thinking the Grass is Greener elsewhere ▪️Not buying into TEAM ▪️Not accepting their ROLE ▪️Thinking coaches were out to get them Don’t live with regret. Do the work -> Appreciate your team -> Accept your role.

Are you prepared for competition? Are you prepared to be challenged? Are you prepared to be in an environment where you are not the best player and you need to get better? These are the questions coaches at the highest level are going to ask of you.

Last weekend we received an alarming increase in reports of refs, specifically young refs having to deal with adults confronting them during and after games, swearing aggressively, abusively and behaving in a threatening manner. We can’t allow this to continue, Enough is Enough.
