Going to make this the mantra for 2021 RELEVANCE. RENEWAL. AND. REIMAGINATION. Our kids can learn. Our schools can be healed. Our connections can be renewed. But we need to really re imagine our purpose. Humans before content.
Worth thinking about in this time of distance learning
If we employed a 4.0 GPA grading system but based it on our 100 point numeric system, students who did not submit assignments would be given a negative six. Our 100 point scale is archaic. Recording a zero on a 100 point scale for a missed assignment makes no educational sense.
