Exciting update: Superconducting qubits have been successfully deployed at QUIET. This marks the transition to unique scientific studies in QUIET and is a major milestone for the program. QUIET is one of two @QuantumSciCtr companion test facilities at Fermilab.

Fermilab recently opened the doors to a state-of-the-art lab a hundred meters underground! The new #quantum sensor and computing research center is named the Quantum Underground Instrumentation Experimental Testbed, or QUIET. 🤫
