Jon Sumrall, asked about the IPF: "No promises have been broken. I firmly believe Tulane is committed... but the way I view the world right now, it's humans over hardware. Do we need facilities? Yes, but... if I have the best NIL outfit, we are going to win a lot of games."
Jon Sumrall is good at this. He's also right! An IPF is absolutely an advantage. And yet, here is a quick sampling of some of the below .500 teams in our league who have them and yet continue to lose football games.

Temple’s Coach talked about the need for the Owls to “level up” after seeing Tulane’s talent advantage, which he attributes to the Wave’s NIL. What an endorsement for @FTWCollective and its supporters to have a HC publicly say they can’t currently expect to compete with Tulane.
