He seems to have great understanding of Generative AI.

Didn’t expect Ben Affleck to have the most articulate and realistic explanation where video models and Hollywood is going

TIL about Overton Window which basically means that politicians and lawyers are just followers of popular public opinion and in turn it actually helps to convince public at large for a political change rather than pushing politicians to cause the change. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overton_w…

This is the kind of security issue that a batteries-included framework handles for you. Thanks @elixirphoenix 🔥

Cursor IDE surely improves the workflow and speed of development but javascript ecosystem acts as a speed damper. VSCode/Electron uses a different node modules version that doesn't even exist in node.js releases? :(

If your government is conducting or assisting a genocide, and doing it in the face of overwhelming popular opposition, then you do not live in a democracy. Your ruling class does whatever it wants. This is a core problem and people need to grapple with it.

🇺🇸 American Doctor: "The bombing doesn't explain children being shot in the head. Every Day I was there, I saw children shot in the head. That's not an accident. That's deliberate targeting of children for death. That's murder."

Immense respect for Paul Graham for speaking about the genocide in Gaza.

In Gaza, 10 year old children are making wills.

I sometimes miss SourceInsight.com for navigating huge #GO projects. I wonder if using language server #lsp, something useful can be built 🤔

I wonder if there is a demand for AI nano-models in desktop enterprise applications. e.g., a Tableau like app with AI magic for data analytics locally.

New blog post! AI GPU Clusters, from your laptop, with Livebook: fly.io/blog/ai-gpu-cl… It includes @cigrainger's amazing demo from @ElixirConf, where Livebook started 64 GPUs, transferred your code, and compiled different ML models (BERT) for fine-tuning (in ~100 secs!) 🤯

Mario Draghi. He's kind of right, except that like a lot of outsiders he thinks "innovation" precedes "commercialisation." In fact most of it happens afterward. So the claim is not that Europeans have good ideas, but that they could have them. That much is true though.

Dear Mario Draghi, a year ago, I asked you to prepare a report on the future of Europe’s competitiveness. No one was better placed than you to take up this challenge. Now, we are eager to listen to your views ↓ twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Erlang/Elixir is just bananas. This is how many lines of code it takes for me to support compiling a machine learning CPU/GPU model in one node (it can be expensive, 30s+), and then send it to another node AS IS for execution: github.com/elixir-nx/nx/c…

So I can run local notebooks on arbitrary hardware in a few clicks with @livebookdev and @flydotio Then I can scale arbitrarily and run clustered, elastic workloads on arbitrary hardware. You just can't do this in #python or #rstats. And it's #opensource. #myelixirstatus
