I want to share the news of my transition from UMD and joining Envu as an Early Development Manager-T&O Disease Management. I’m looking forward to this new chapter and grateful to my colleagues, collaborators and Mid-Atlantic turfgrass industry for their support along the way.

Sometimes fungicides make a whole lot of difference! Well, some of them! Gray leaf spot fungicide trials at @UMDTurf
Brown patch on tall fescue spotted this week, a few weeks earlier than usual in Maryland! @UMDTurf
We are conducting a summer patch trial at one of our cooperators’ site to identify the best application timing and number of applications. This is a collaborative project between UMD and PSU @Thomasslai @iTweetTurf @UMDTurf
We got our new toy up and running! Still a few final details to fine-tune but generally done.We are testing the effect of UVC on cool season turf diseases. Big shout out to our farm mechanic (Joe DeRico) for assembling the system and @Udaykumar_Thera for leading the work.@UMDTurf

Our in vitro tests show an impressive effect of UVC in the management of dollar spot pathogen. Preliminary greenhouse work showed 60 sec of irradiation works better for cooking turf 😂 Big shout out to @Udaykumar_Thera and @KabitaSl for leading the work.@UMDTurf #turfgrass #IPM

We inoculated newly established perennial rye for gray leaf spot last week and got the first symptoms after a week. I was concerned about getting Pythium and started preventative app, Mother Nature sent brown patch instead 😁
