This looks amazing!!! I wish programs like these would have been available back when I earned my forensics certification from Colorado State University's Global Campus. Genealogy and DNA are concepts I had to learn on my own. So thankful that there are better programs now!

New article out on the instructional design of the #FG4LE course. Includes announcement of new programs designed to create more opportunities for students and departments seeking to become involved in #forensicgenealogy. Read In the #ISHI Report here: promega.foleon.com/theishireport/… #DNA

Congratulations to the Albuquerque NM 2nd Judicial District Attorney's Office, some of whom were FG4LE students, for their successful use of forensic genealogy to make this arrest. Our thoughts are with the victim and victim's family as they begin to heal as justice is served.

Angel Gurule was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to raping a jogger 5 years ago. Our office identified Gurule through the use of forensic genealogy by matching DNA from a relative to his DNA recovered from a SANE exam. Full article:krqe.com/news/crime/sen…
