The remnants of Debby will approach the area this evening and pass through the region through Friday. Flooding, tornadoes, gusty winds and coastal flooding will be the main threats.
As Tropical Storm #Debby approaches - stay Weather Aware. Conditions are expected to bring 2" to 4" inches of rain and some strong winds. If flash flooding occurs, DO NOT DRIVE into flooded roads. Turn Around - Don't Drown.

Today Fauquier Fire Rescue placed the new Engine 1105, the first county-purchased Engine, in service!
A Tornado Watch has been issued for areas east of the Blue Ridge & Catoctin Mountains until 11 PM. Severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing tornadoes. Hail up to the size of ping pong balls and 70 mph wind gusts are also possible. #MDwx #WVwx #VAwx #DCwx
