This week the NIHR Exeter CRF welcomed 3rd year @PlymUni nursing student Laura, for the start of her 7 week placement. She will be shadowing staff and gaining valuable clinical research experience.

Was thrilled to have presented some of my islet antibody data in #T1D in #Africa to @KGillespieBris team in @BristolUni yesterday. Islet antibody rates are lower in people diagnosed with T1D in SSA and #diabetes duration and age of diabetes onset do not fully explain why.
