Serious question— Does no one else seem shocked that there’s a deal saying “we’re good with people illegally entering the country if it’s just a few thousand a day”? That doesn’t seem like a secure border. 🤷‍♂️ I dunno maybe I’m just naive to how huge an improvement that would be…

BREAKING: Senate border deal details, per source familiar I just had a call with. - Mandatory detention of all single adults. - Mandatory “shut down” of border once average daily migrant encounters hits 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 number includes 1,400 CBP One app…

The US Navy has proven again that its willing to allow its outstanding lesser grade personnel to be imprisoned & career ruined for fear of insulting an ally. If this case had been in Russia, Alkonis would've been designated wrongfully detained immediately. taskandpurpose.com/news/navy-ridg…

Governor @SarahHuckabee, Sen. Pro-Tem @BartHester and I witnessed the conditions at the border first hand last year. I said then and I repeat today my support for Arkansas standing with Texas to secure the border.

If President Biden won’t defend us, states will have to defend themselves. Arkansas stands with Texas.

Look at what happened to Alkonis even with high levels of support from advocates. Imagine if it was a young enlisted soldier or a service members spouse or teenage child being arrested—-this happens every year and they don’t have a lawyer with them while imprisoned and…

It’s a sickening reality that the 100,000 U.S. service members and military dependents in Japan have no right or access to legal counsel or translation if accused of a crime or arrested by Japanese authorities. Senior DoD officials and even a general confirmed that the Japanese…

In 2022, @BrittanyAlkonis sent the attached letter to prominent members of the House Armed Services Committee. The letter outlined the Navy’s misconduct and Japan’s violations of the Status of Forces Agreement in the Ridge Alkonis case.

I’ll go on the record anytime to discuss the details and intricacies of the Ridge Alkonis case. There’s a lot of misinformation/disinformation about the Alkonis case, and the @USNavy is the source of most of it. Have nothing to hide—and I guarantee the Navy, OSD, SecNav, &…

If revoking Alkonis’s promotion was actually about committing a “crime” and not about politics, then why didn’t the Navy revoke the promotion 2.5 years ago when Alkonis was originally convicted?? Answer that. Because— The Navy knew Alkonis wasn’t actually culpable, that he…

In the military's final summary report on the Ridge Alkonis case, the Navy stated: "No misconduct or wrongdoing is being alleged from any U.S. military or U.S. civilian authorities." "The incident does not warrant promotion delay or removal, and LT Alkonis should be allowed to…

Secretary Austin’s @DoD_IG also refused to investigate my allegations of the @USNavy misleading Congress.

In August 2022, I informed the @DoD_IG that the #USNavy knowingly mislead Congress for 14-months about LT Ridge Alkonis’s case in Japan. I provided evidence and willing witnesses. The DoD Inspector General ignored my complaint. Never contacted witnesses. No investigation.
