Excited to share my first PhD paper! 🎉 In this study, I delve into manybody interactions at the topological states. Special thanks to @Nikhil_Medhekar Looking forward to engaging with fellow researchers! 🌟 *now published in Nanoscale* pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

If you’re an an Academic - or an aspiring Academic - and you’re not excited to get up and write on Sunday morning or Sunday afternoon, that should tell you something.

Both types of relativistic star - neutron stars & black holes - were discovered by women. Jocelyn Bell discovered pulsating neutron stars, or pulsars, and Louise Webster co-discovered black holes. Neither got credit they deserved. And Webster, an Aussie, is pretty much forgotten.

I’m going to be interviewing Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell on @IndyLiveStream on Monday 15 August. I SO admire her for using her £2.3 million Breakthrough Prize to help disadvantaged minorities to do physics. She should have got the Nobel Prize in Physics for discovering pulsars!
