Base conducted a free medical camp at Mrima Bwiti dispensary in Lungalunga Sub-County where 1,200 community members from 8 villages received medical services. The medical camp is part of Base’s initiative aimed at improving health delivery in the community. #Mining #Changinglives

More than 500 residents from 26 villages received free consultation, diagnosis & treatment services including; diabetes, breast cancer screening, hypertension check up etc... The community also donated blood which will be kept at the Msambweni Blood Bank for emergencies.

Quick overview of what Base’s Community Health team and Community Health Volunteers in Kwale have been upto. - In Mivumoni, conducted Cervical Cancer Screening for women. 36 women from 6 villages were screened and 4 were reffered for further examination.
