SEASON is available to pre-order on Amazon! @GHarrisonWriter’s novel is about the lives of isolated, working men who the political class would rather not think about. Also the positive power of football, community, and intergenerational exchange. Read it! amzn.eu/d/5ckm4Zb

This account is mostly the official @GHarrisonWriter fan club these days, but for good reason. Season is a novel about masculinity, loneliness, and inter-generational friendship, told from the stands of a Premier League football club. It’s beautiful. 📖

Very happy to share the cover of Season, which will be released in hardback in January. Thanks to team @EyeAndLightning for an absolute screamer of a design. For more info about the novel or to pre-order direct from the publishers: eye-books.com/books/season

Delighted to announce that my debut - a literary novel about loneliness, masculinity and Premier League football - will be published in January. It's SEASON szn!

Eye Books has landed Season, the "immaculately written" debut novel from George Harrison. Season examines "the healing, unifying but often maddening role of ritualised sport in the lives of ordinary men". thebookseller.com/rights/eye-boo…

Look out for SEASON by George Harrison in early 2025 🗓️ Through a moving intergenerational friendship, the novel captures the unique and valuable role football plays in so many people’s lives ✨

Brilliant book. Both tender and thrilling. Look out for SEASON at the start of 2025. One for all readers, whether a fan of the footy or not. It’s a beauty.

England is Mine is here! Delighted for @nicolaspadamsee, who deserves all the success in the world. By all accounts his debut is a thoughtful dissection of echo chambers, the entrenchment of ideas, national identity and radicalisation in modern Britain. Can’t wait to read it.

So what has Reason done to deserve your hard-earned, tax-deductible donation money since our last record-breaking Webathon? We challenged Anthony Fauci, introduced normies to unbelievable government overreach, and deconstructed Tom Cotton. Read more: reason.pub/3uhbdRi

As @billybinion notes, Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra's decision to scrub Tchaikovsky from an upcoming program is utterly pointless. It's possible to oppose Putin's regime without waging war on Russian culture. reason.com/2022/03/09/car…

Hi @TeamYouTube, received an email to apply to YouTube’s Partner Development Program, but links don't work. Then received another email with [LINK FIXED] in subject line, but links still don't work. Help please!

Important piece on @reason today re David Amess murder, free speech and online privacy: "The British government...will use any crisis as an excuse to push forward aggressive tech regulation even if it has very little to do with the incident at hand." reason.com/2021/10/19/soc…

I'm delighted to share this @reason podcast. @nickgillespie and I discuss Afghanistan, the surprising legacy of 9/11, and the prospects for making U.S. foreign policy more strategic and more peaceful. reason.com/podcast/2021/0…

It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks. 👏⚽ I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS

Don’t let people convince you that our withdrawal from Afghanistan had to be this bad. We didn’t have to leave our allies to die, and we shouldn’t excuse Biden for that. My latest @reason: reason.com/2021/08/17/don…

Extremely risk-averse people have a role in society, but it's usually not making rules for others to live by.

“I feel sorry for activists who are convinced that we live in the most oppressive time that has ever been, given that the opposite is true.” Great @nickgillespie interview with @andrewdoyle_com on free speech, cancel culture, deplatforming & more.
