Dear @AdeolaYAYI, These are examples of what a "fully equipped ICU" looks like. Please let's embrace the culture of providing Nigerians with health infrastructure that even you politicians won't be scared of being rushed into if emergencies arise.
Here is a fully equipped Intensive Care Unit, ICU, at the State General Hospital, Ota, Ado Odo Ota LGA, Ogun State. One of the health infrastructure I facilitated to my senatorial district for the use of all constituent. Effective Representation continues….
Familiarise yourself with the current immunization schedule in Nigeria. Protect your children from vaccine preventable diseases. #SupportImmunization
On this Yahaya Bello issue, I vowed to ignore everything related to him but I need people to realize how evil he is and how much damage his corrupt laden administration cost the good people of Kogi state. Firstly, whatever they said he did, yeah he did worse. He was pure evil.
What was the darkest moment of your life? How did you go through it?
So I’m doing a thing this weekend! Launching a stall for my business🥹 If you’re in Ile-Ife, I’d love to have you around! Thank youuu💜
Do you still want to induct this year?🥲🥲
I need one week of strike, just to rest. Please😭 I feel like I can faint inside this theatre fr. I don’t even want to do surgery fa🤧🤧
Did You Know: #Meningitis is a top cause of acquired deafness in children? Get them vaccinated! Meningitis is largely vaccine-preventable! Parents/caregivers are urged to visit any primary health care centre close to them to get their children/wards vaccinated against…
Anyone that wants to take 2 cans of this at one sitting can as well write their will and get burial party planners too.
Your active engagement prompted a response from LASG to our open letter last week. Today, I wrote a follow-up letter to the Governor. I’m very proud of, and grateful to you all. Let’s remain engaged and together, we’ll achieve a transparent, inclusive and prosperous Lagos.
I did it! Check out my #EdinburghGrad graduation video from #StageClip | #ClassOf2023 : edinburgh.stageclip.com/clip/abdulhafi…
Top Nigerian medical specialities in the next 5-10 years. 1. Psychiatry - everyone is smoking weed and doing drugs. 2. Oncology - shisha and alcohol are mainstream now. 3. Obesity medicine/Bariatrics - junk food and sweets everywhere. 4. Cardiology - same as no. 2 & 3.
For the record, this is an extract of a hard copy of the PPA report which was the source of the N2bn figure we included in our open letter, before it was amended to N2m as now shown on PPA’s website.
I just wrote an open letter to the Governor on Public Procurement awards reported by LASG for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2023, highlighting a number of issues for further scrutiny and remedial action. Judicious use of public funds is always important, and is especially so now.
This is all shades of wrong. Children will invariably give their consent but their parents and school authorities will never consent to this craziness. Long-term implications of this stereotypic content are far-reaching and more deleterious than you all are ready to accept.
What’s the funniest/worst insult you received/ heard about during medical school?
Two schoolgirls from Lagos, Nigeria, have invented a water purifying device which turns contaminated water into safe drinking water. The girls won the Stockholm Junior Water Prize Nigeria for their innovation which has gained global attention.
📌 Resident Doctors give their most productive years to the service of humanity, amidst exposure to life-threatening hazards. Yet, the FG continues to frustrate their training and livelihood through underpayment including refusal to pay MRTF. #NARDStrike @officialABAT
Nigerian doctors worked but weren't paid: 40 newly employed Doctors in OAUTHC toiled 4-7 months unpaid. Over 100 in OAUTHC still await 13 months of hazard allowance arrears. Yet, FG @Fmohnigeria seek to INTIMIDATE doctors with "No Work, No Pay." Pay #ARDOAUTHC40s now! #NARDStrike
Resident doctors to embark on nationwide protest Wednesday vanguardngr.com/2023/08/reside…
All centre leaders are by this notice adviced to begin preparations for this nationwide protest.
Sad. Really sad! Nigeria again failed her own. Scary times ahead for those coming behind. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, Doc.
