People keep telling me to be proud of myself for 176 days "free" of refined sugar. I just think it's not long enough. What does anyone else think. I guess it's 176 days of actively choosing life (refined sugar was killing me) but is that enough to say that I'm proud of myself????
Seriously!!!! It's a good thing I have the sense to ask if there's sugar in stuff! I wanted a gingerbread latte with cream. The syrup is fine and sugar free but asked about the cream and it's full of sugar, so had to have it without 😠 😡 I'm on day 175. Don't want to lose that!!
I have 166 days of abstinence from refined sugar. Still want it but still forcing myself to not have it. It's been so difficult while I've been sick. Today, will be my first day back at therapy. I missed 4 weeks. I'm grateful to still have my place.
My new outfit. Never thought I'd have the guts to wear leather (faux leather before anyone says anything) trousers, lol. I should have been doing this as a teenager, lol. Better late than never, I guess ❤️
Seriously??? I just tried to turn up the TV volume, using my phone! They're not and never have been connected, lol! My brain is still full of cotton wool, I guess. It would be funny, if I weren't so sick of this stupid virus!
Clearing out my craft stuff, this evening. I need better storage! I have loads of stuff and it's all sitting in boxes and bags. It all needs a proper home, so that I can find things quickly and easily. It's something easy to do, while I'm sick.

Writing poetry with a head that feels like it's been stuffed with cotton wool, is difficult. I have 3 verses but that's way too short. I'm really frustrated about still being sick. 3.5 weeks now 😢

I have been abstinent from refined sugar for 148 days now. I still crave it like crazy but I'm still working hard to keep my recovery going. I don't think I will ever be able to say I'm proud of myself. I fear that if I'm proud of the achievement, I'll mess it up. So, best not.
