Jerrod Carmichael’s monologue!

Very sorry to hear this. Mike not only was a great guy, but he was one of the finest news photographers in Illinois. Big loss for Quincy.

Just learned about the passing of Mike Kipley. It would not be possible to remember my years at The Herald-Whig without talking about Kip. The guy worked his ass off and loved shooting sports. A pro who I really enjoyed working with.

Nothing beats the fervor of a Quincy High School basketball game.

Those pork chops on the left look like the ones we used to get at Hoefft’s Village Inn in Maeystown, Ill. Yum!

Amazing defensive play.

When you’ve figured out both the play and the timing. #SoundUp #Football

Glad to see Don O’Brien once again prowling the sidelines at a Quincy High School football game. The former Quincy Herald-Whig sports editor has been doing a great job helping to provide football coverage while a staffing search is under way. @dob23

Bronco Billy was a legend in the Art Schlichter Fantasy Football League. He also was a good, decent guy with a great sense of humor. He will be fondly remembered, David.

Details on visitation and funeral for Dad. If you were touched by him, take a minute to come out Sunday afternoon and let me hear your stories. He was a good man. He'll be missed greatly. Let's celebrate his life. dukerandhaugh.com/services/septe…

An amazing finish to a football game…

About 20 years ago, one of the most bizarre endings to a football game occurred, and it just so happened to be week 1 CLE/KC twitter.com/chiefhighlight…
