On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, for 15 of 16 years I was a member of the Miami-Dade School Board, I attended the 5000 Role Models MLK Scholarship Breakfast with my sons. Kudos to the Wilson scholars! This picture brings back nice memories and hoping we can all be there next year.
Inventor and entrepreneur Ivan Yaeger visited my classroom at Yeshiva Elementary School on opening week. Students were enthralled by his presentation which included opportunities to operate the robotic arm he invented. If you'd like to come visit, please contact me.
