Did fungicide on soybeans pay this year? Aproach Prima applied at R3. Even with the lack of rain late summer, there was over a 6 bu advantage in favor of fungicide here! @PioneerSeeds @CortevaUS @CowboyCubby @WieseJared

Pioneer brand corn protects your fields against Tar Spot. See for yourself: the green rows are Pioneer corn products with tar spot tolerance and the brown rows are the competitors. Pioneer: Tar 🛑s here.
This Plot! I would have guessed significant yield effect. What are we seeing, Enlist beating Xtendflex even in every plot with cupping.
@DeanSeeds_Jeff @EbbersAg Dryland Sterling NE. P0995AM AQUAmax® hybrids are highly resilient in challenging conditions, improved root system and silk emergence to manage drought stress. See The Leaders! @crank1n3 @PioneerSeeds @LaneLiby @corteva
Corn is still standing very good for the most part but scout and prioritize your fields because stalk rots are present.
Not what I was wanting to find tonight... Gall Midge is here unfortunately...@tjcksn @justinmcmechan Gage/Johnson county line between Adams and Sterling
New Study Finds Corn Ethanol Reduces CO2 Emissions by 46% dtnpf.com/agriculture/we…
Did you know? 260 bu corn with 32k plants/acre Needs roughly 260 lbs of N/acre? That’s 1.7 TEASPOONS OF 32% per plant!! Which 1.19 teaspoons is used between V3-R1 AND .51 teaspoons from R1-black layer Is HOW MUCH or WHEN and WHERE is applied more important?
3 years of “farm-level” data in NE indicate 2.5 bushels of lost yield for every point of moisture loss. The loss is predominantly machine loss. Respirational kernel loss is insignificant but field drying loss is significant, measurable, and real. #phantom
Corn-On-Corn Stress: Observations and Yield Impact youtu.be/fpZQQAnFssQ via @YouTube Here is a 5 min video of a comparison of corn on corn vs corn on soybeans. It's very easy to pick out the difference from both the ground and the air.
Going to be some epic “Fungicide vs Untreated” examples in corn this year w/ the high levels of Southern Rust. Same field, same hybrid, same mgmt in these pics. Harvest prioritization will be key. Don’t just assume fields are “okay”.
American since 1926. Maximizing growers productivity and profitability. Varieties that out yield the competition. See the Leaders @CowboyCubby @DeanSeeds_Jeff @PioneerSeeds @corteva
I can’t stress enough how important it is to have calibrated yield data. We have the technology to make better decisions for the next crop using yield data #calibrateyourmonitor
Found this sample I’m assuming is Southern Rust, a couple miles north of Tecumseh, NE. Taking to UNL tomorrow. Great looking crop and recent rains have leaf disease GLS, NCLB moving in as well. Consider protecting yield potential. Info: pioneer.com/us/agronomy/co…
How to stage corn by splitting stalks for post- pesticide applications. Hopefully will aid in reducing ear abnormalities this year! #nebext @UNL_CropWatch @RogerElmore @tjcksn @AmitUNL
