What do Tang Chun-i, Hartmut Rosa, and Jeffrey Stout have in common? I don't know, but I'm browsing all of their works at the same time anyway.. .

It’s cool to see former @Nationals Winker and Thomas in the spotlight for @Mets and @CleGuardians

Ahhh… I see now perhaps it is growth when amongst the voices in your head there is an inner defender sparring with your once more dominant inner critic.

I mean… of course teaching Chinese students is very different than teaching U.S. American students, but, wow, you really feel it when you do both in a single day a few hours apart.

As much as I would love to say minority Christian identities become more welcoming and empathetic to other minorities, the data I have seen suggests otherwise... which is not only a sociological or cultural issue but also a theological one.

i very much enjoyed @EastenLaw 's nuancing of the discourse on Asian migration at today's Acts 11 conference. esp. loved his point about how minority status can sometimes lead to exclusion of others; a thickening of the border b/c our identity is so caught up in our culture.
