Great news that @DAMASCUS_Study our sister audit is extending it's run! Looking forward to seeing the longer-term outcomes...

@DAMASCUS_Study: 6,285 records + ~1,500 clinicians + 44 countries = the biggest international audit of diverticulitis + massive potential to investigate clinical questions. Be a shame to stop, right? Right! The DAMASCUS Study has been extended to include 1 & 2 year outcomes!🎆

CONGRATULATIONS to @chrisvarghese98 and all the East of Damascus team at Auckland City Hospital for entering our 100th patient! Fantastic effort!🇳🇿

Interesting insights from @dnepo on #collaborative #research responding to (IMO) misleaded published oppinions. Suggest to follow this tweet @ColorectalDis @SurgJournal @SWexner @juliomayol @EAES_eu @Cirbosque @CovidSurg @DrJamesGlasbey @EagleEscp @EastDamascus @FRAIL_LATAM

Gloves off: my thoughts. A summary of Martin's argument is that findings from collaborative research are flawed, and the authorship model devalues the work of the people who lead collaborative studies (although apparently their work has little value).
