Autoimmune disorders are associated with BPH, but men undergoing treatment have fewer diagnoses than the general population. Excited to see Simon Hayward’s upcoming clinical study looking at the LUTS trends in men taking TNF Antagonists. #urologysbur #sbur2023

“After just one week of running on the wheel, (older mice) have significantly reduced symptoms of BPH, more similar to a younger man.” 🏃🏽 Great talk @LabRicke! #SBUR2023

I'm obsessed with this paper from almost 30 YEARS AGO in NJEM. Vaginal estrogen (estriol in this case), allowed healthy vaginal flora to repopulate and reduced UTIs. I tell patients vag estrogen is better than ANY PROBIOTIC. READ. SHARE. nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…

Did you know the famous homunculus was updated recently? Here is the new one, published in Nature last month. It accounts for coordinated complex movements that the 1948 one lacked. #MedTwitter #Neurology

Recurrent UTI’s in young women often cause significant sexual dysfunction. Loved @Alison__Schulz point that preventative UTI resources and early screening could really improve their quality of life! #AUA23 #sexualhealth

Mental health 🤝 sexual health. Men who suffer from delayed ejaculatory disorder have higher chance of reporting clinically significant depression. @CorsoChri #AUA23 #mentalhealth #sexualhealth

13-year-old dog, Abby, had been missing for two months. When Gerry Keene discovered her deep inside Missouri's second largest cave, he and fellow caver Rick Haley crawled and climbed to bring her home. @DavidMuir has more on the rescue and reunion. abcn.ws/2XvP3JQ

SCOTUS's egregious decision unjustly allows government intrusion into the exam room, attacking the patient-physician relationship and violating patients' rights to evidence-based reproductive health services. spr.ly/6019zqAu3
