Great week of youth work! Ladywood youth club played a friendly football match against Soho youth club which went well and was so much fun despite the weather!We also took a group of young people to The Bside festival at the Hippodrome! Lots of fun and laughter#youth work works

Today we spent time supporting a young man on a one to one basis. We taught him how to cook fried chicken his request and then played Uno. Providing a safe space and support for the young person! #youthwork

As part of mental health awareness week, we have been speaking to young people about strategies they can use when they are not feeling great! One of the things we spoke about was creating positive affirmations and we gave young people affirmation cards! #mentalhealth #awareness

Another great session @CORECityAcademy mentoring sessions with an individual intervention for each young person. Having discussions whilst been creative, painting, playing games and poetry writing! # positive start to the week!
