Happy World Numbat Day! Did you know that the Numbat is an EDGE species? You can find them on our EDGE mammals list. Unlike most Australian marsupials, Numbats eat termites instead. They can eat up to 20,000 termites a day, which they catch with their long, sticky tongues!
