We are proud to support the call to eliminate sick notes for short-term absences. Physicians’ time should be spent on patient care, not paperwork. We continue to call for elimination of family physician certification requirement for DTC form cbc.ca/news/health/cm…

The CMA is calling for the elimination of sick notes for short-term minor illnesses, which could prevent as many as 12.5 million unnecessary health care interactions in a single year. Read more: bit.ly/4fie0zf
