SOFT SKILLS. Your ability to connect with people, learn and collaborate is becoming increasingly valuable in the AI era.
THE JOURNEY. It’s not the destination that matters, it’s the journey and who you become along the way.
DECISIONS. The more decisions you have to make the lower the quality of those decisions. Focus on fewer but more important decisions.
TIME vs. ATTENTION. Time is important but attention is more important. You can spend time on one thing but your attention can be somewhere else. Hint: Flow = pure absorption in what you are doing.
EFFICIENCY vs. EFFECTIVENESS. Efficiency is doing THINGS right. Effectiveness is doing the RIGHT things. Nokia was both an efficient and effective company, yet at some point, the market changed, and the company stopped being effective.
COMPETITION. Competition drives innovation, evolution, growth. Competition is the reason why you are reading this message on a nice OLED screen. Take a minute and thank your competitors, they are a part of the reason you accomplished so much, and you are WHO you are today.…
