We will never be afraid of dictatorship. We will just follow the instructions of our leaders (state counsellor Daw Aung San Su Kyi and President U Win Myint) #SayNoToMyanmarMilitaryCoup

The Burmese military cannot be reformed. It will never change. The international community must not repeat the mistake of pushing the people of Myanmar into power sharing with the military. The Burmese military must be completely dismantled or the abuses will never end.

You should not expect to release peacefully. We need to fight to those evil heavily.

Just thinking about some good friends — ASSK’s economic team — still being held in prison in Myanmar. Their crime apparently was to work hard to bring prosperity to the country. So sad for them and thousands of others. Myanmar deserves better.

Thank you @deputySecState

The brutal military junta is continuously increasing the crackdown on the healthcare professionals under #CDM. The @MinistryofHea16 does solemnly affirm and promise on behalf of those fallen heroes, “We Will Continue Our Fight to Win Federal Democracy Indefinitely”.

Some #Yangon citizens today protested on the street to oppose #Myanmar #militarycoup but shots were fired reportedly by military security forces/police, sending the protesters scrambling for cover. Police may also have arrested a few. Video by a citizen #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

Lacking legitimacy, #Myanmar's military junta is incapable of governing, let alone confronting a major #COVID19 outbreak in the country. The military has harassed & arrested hundreds of healthcare workers even as people are dying without adequate medical care or access to oxygen.

The world is watching until the end.
