Is this for real? The irony…

It’s over.

Our forever First Lady has such an informed, eloquent response to this latest Supreme? Court decision. I’m a proud HBCU grad.👩🏽‍🎓But I’ll wade in: Today’s decision fails to consider equity vs legacy. The spawn of legacies vs overqual.. eco disadv minorities? That’s a dissertation!

Liz, thank you for shining a light on this important matter by highlighting the NPR story and CLASP issue paper. Keep up the good work.

These stories are horrifying -- and avoidable. States need to be planning now to avoid coverage losses when the public health emergency ends: clasp.org/publications/r…

I honestly thought that this day would never happen. Wow.

“Why FEMA is denying aid to Black disaster survivors in the Deep South - The Washington Post” — This article speaks to an issue that plagues many AA families in the South: heir property. washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/07…

This weekend’s passing of @ReginaKing’s son by suicide had me thinking about the challenges of people of color in America and the stigma of seeking help beyond the kitchen table or the sanctuary. See NAMI.org. #SistersKeeper #BWInspire #MentalWellness

He spent decades laying groundbreaking runways @voguemagazine & beyond. The dynamic Andre Leon Tally has gone to be with the Ancestors. His seminal eye for fashion was political and beautiful. Why Praytell is there NO tribute to the dynamic ALT on #Twitter by @voguemagazine?

Happy Founders Day to the dedicated women of my sorority Delta Sigma Theta Inc. Since Jan. 13, 1913 at #Howard University when dear Delta was founded, women under this organization have joined forces in service, scholarship and sisterhood. At 109, we carry on! #DST1913 #Service

Thanks @CLASP for highlighting the problem of over-policing of Afr-Amer women & girls. Your org is respected with a wide reach. Allies are appreciated as we raise our voices together to highlight wrongs, not only for visibility, but for policy change. #Allies #BLM #BWInspire

Young Black girls experience criminalization at every point in their life as their bodies continue to be the victims of hate and over-policing. fal.cn/3kwR2
