Tirzepatide has a tolerable adverse event profile, with few adults experiencing an adverse event leading to drug discontinuation. @Rahulmishrambbs @DrRishi_raj @SirIsain @stanlakshmi @PriyankaMajety @DineshEdem @drricardocorrea bit.ly/40npQ3h

@Optum is now running a Payday loan business targeting medical practices to which @UHC fails to issue timely payments, denies + delays. Genius! Optum Pay Advance is a short-term loan offered by Optum Bank®, a subsidiary of Optum Financial, Inc. @A4Horg @txsportsdoc @BrantMDJD

Once Aetna did a similar thing with cataracts last year, you knew all of them would try to jump on the universal prior auth bandwagon. And as long as they have an unlimited supply of ghoulish, non practicing physicians willing to deny evidence based medical care, they won’t stop.

On June 1 @UHC will require prior authorization for all procedures except for screening colonoscopies (surveillance colonoscopies will require prior auth). uhcprovider.com/en/resource-li… #GITwitter @GI_Pearls @ginorthshore @DrHarryThomas @PerelmansPearls @morrisonc36 @DGlaucomflecken

Every MD knows they are not going to be right every time, it's impossible to be, but they will do their best . Every day. Are some better than others. Yes. Are there politics?More than most professions. But to dismiss MDs as being "bought" is wrong.

I want to share what I think about MDs. I love each and everyone that busted their ass, borrowed too much money, sacrificed more than we can ever quantify, in hopes of helping their patients. Medicine is an imprecise science. The uncertainties far outnumber the absolutes.

I can't imagine the stress or having to make life or death decisions for patients. The pain of dealing with death and tragedy. Intellectually we all know that Twitter isn't really representative of anything but Twitter. But the abuse on this platform towards MDs is wrong
