Public funds should go to public schools. Indiana public schools educate 93% of kids but only get 64% of public funds. That’s bc “school choice” sends 36% of the education budget to subsidize private schools for 7% of kids. I repeat: Public funds should go to public schools.

I’m nothing but proud today of my Pop, our President, Joe Biden, who has served our country with every bit of his soul and with unmatched distinction. Not only has he been—and will continue to be—the most effective president of our lifetime, but he has likely already cemented…

#nailedit Indiana - do better. Let’s stop electing people like Todd Rokita. He’s an embarrassment and a cancer to what Hoosiers are all about. Teachers and administrators are some of the most caring people we have in society. Yet, they remain targets because of jerks like TR.

Indiana - our Attorney General is targeting teachers. Through fearmongering, he wants only his views and beliefs taught. He’s using the threat of indoctrination to indoctrinate. All at the expense of our teachers.

The application for ASSET Cohort 3 is now open! ICASE.org/ASSET. Indiana teachers, please let me know if you have any questions! Jay@assetindiana.org

There was a boy named JJ. He was very little when two of his siblings died in a fire. JJ survived but had severe asthma as a result of exposure to inhaling a great deal of smoke. Mom fell out of the picture and grannie raised him and his cousins. In reality, the streets raised…

Service is who I am. I served as a teacher, principal, local superintendent, and State Superintendent. I'm running because Hoosiers deserve a governor who will listen, lift up and empower.

The coming out process is a deeply personal one that no kid should have to go through until they are ready to do so on their own terms. Politicians have no place forcing schools to out trans youth for them.

Indiana schools may soon be required to notify parents if their children request a name or pronoun change at school, after the state Senate on Monday advanced a House bill that some worry could out transgender kids to their families. to.pbs.org/3Kr4hsH
