“The drones would come down and pick off civilians – children.” A former NHS surgeon, Nizam Mamode, who spent a month working in Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, broke down while testifying about children in Gaza being shot by drones.

If you want to understand what white privilege is, it’s the ability to walk down the street knowing that you’re safe from racist abuse. It’s the privilege of not having to second guess whether someone is judging you because of the colour of your skin. SPEAK UP AGAINST HATE.

The silence of my fellow privileged white colleagues in relation to the racism and bigotry unfolding in the UK right now is deafening. We cannot just turn away even though we are able to as this makes us complicit. We must do better.

Learning a lot and striving to be better. Created this visual mental model as a way to help keep myself accountable (Adapted from one I had seen for #COVID a couple months ago.) Becoming Anti-Racist: Fear, Learning, Growth. #BlackLivesMatter

Simone Biles is incredible. The greatest gymnast in the world. Talented, hardworking, brave. And an ADHDer. The fact that children with ADHD have her to look up to as a role model is beautiful.
