Congratulations to the inaugural class of the Flamingo Club! This group comprises 34 young golfers from the Greater San Antonio area, ages 5-12. At today's award ceremony, the kids were joyful as they received a brand new set of golf clubs and a membership to local golf courses.

This morning's discussion on people experiencing homelessness was enlightening. It was moving to hear about experiences people have endured and the courage it takes to be vulnerable. This conversation shed light on the challenges faced by unsheltered residents.

I am thrilled that we've officially broken ground on San Antonio's newest manufacturing employer, @JCBna JCB's investment is expected to have an economic impact of $30 billion over the next ten years. The best part is that JCB plans to hire 1,500 San Antonio resident!
