Tropical storm #Rafael has formed in the Caribbean and is forecasted to become a category 2 on approach to Cuba. After that its forecasted to move in the gulf where it weakens to a tropical storm.

A nasty tornado outbreak looks likely for areas across the central us today. Strong low level shear, moderate instability, fast moving supercells should all lead to a fairly strong outbreak of tornadoes today. I honestly could see this going 15% over eastern Oklahoma. #severewx
Though this may be a bit aggressive, the wind shear tomorrow is forecasted to be fairly strong coupled with decent instability I could see a stronger tornado threat being realized. Feel like we’ve seen this story a couple times in the past.
