SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED WITH ALBASTAR AIRLINES - told me I should wear a nappy on board as I’m disabled and they don’t have an aisle chair. This is what I had to resort to. Please share - This isn’t acceptable!!! #disabled #wheelchair #AlbastarAirlines

Paging neurodivergent academics and PhD students! My student is researching mentoring/support for neurodivergent academics and PGRs. Limited academic literature and wants to look at blogs and other pieces by neurodivergent academics/PGRs - can you recommend? #Neurodiversity

Here are some examples of ableism:

Ableism is so common in day-to-day life, and often, individuals don’t know that they are being ableist. However, ableism can have a massive negative impact on the disabled community; meaning educating yourself on what it is is so important.
