I don’t see an attack on heart surgeons or chemists or architects or even plumbers all of whom have their own areas of expertise. The experts who are under scrutiny, people like you, have all demonstrated their incompetence and failed us miserably
So much of this is an attack on expertise, on the idea that there are actual experts who know more than a reality tv host. Because once you succeed in denigrating experts, you have no one to question you who has any, well, expertise.
