Horrible news. I was so excited to buy my MAS JAMMA system in person from Thao Nguyen at his home in the 1990s and I was always delighted with its impeccable quality. Absolutely the best gaming system I have ever owned and the work of a master of his craft. A true legend.
Their memory will live on forever. I hope their family finds peace and can recover from this. Thank you MAS Systems / Nguyen family for helping shape our community into what it is today.

Because of his work on the MAS sticks, I have been indirectly given the opportunity over the last few year to work with Thao. Ranging from the classic MAS to newer frames he emerged from retirement from to build, I have modded and wired his masterpieces in my spare time.
For those who may not know, Thao and Reynalda Nguyen recently passed due to a fire accident. Thao was pivotal to the #FGC and fightstick community, as he was the man behind the creation of the MAS arcade stick. Please consider donating to support. gofund.me/60feb49e

Unfortunate news, But the Wife(Lynn) of the couple that made Mas Joyticks died in a house fire recently. Her husband(Thao) survived. This is really sad news. Anyone who is an OG in the FGC had one of these sticks, or played on them. MAS was so integral to our scene. RIP
